10 fun ways to celebrate fall and say bye-bye to summer
Something old , something new , something painted, something glued. Teach your child about seasons change .
1. Make a leaves wreath
With the help of a paper plate, some paper, some glue and lots of leaves you will enjoy a creative afternoon with your child and tell a story or two .
2.Water colour leaf paintings -water colour resist with crayons
You probably remember doing this project when you were a kid. The great part about this activity -it’s a great way to show kids how different things react with water color.
Resist, means that the crayon will repel the water color away from it. If you use a white crayon during this activity, your kids eyes may pop out!
Materials
- Paper
- Water Color Paints (preferably dark colors)
- Paint Brush
- Crayons (preferably light color crayons, even white)
3.LEAF RUBBING
Take your kids for a bike ride and collect some leaves., Arrange a leaf with the vein side facing up, and then place a sheet of paper on top. Using the flat edge of the side of a crayon, hold the paper firmly in place, then rub the crayon back and forth along the paper. Your leaf rubbing will appear.

Take any plain table runner and place some leaves your child collected - .
